Hey! Had a minor scrape, slid off on gravel at about 15Km/h... Actually whilst on the subject, holy shit, on the floor in less than a millisecond..not even time to put a hand out...just one second braking to go round a stationary car, front hit gravel and instantaneously lying in the middle of the road...bike slides 1 metre max. Anyways decided to get all bodywork repainted to former glory...looks back to better than new now...but the painter dropped a mirror and replaced the glass, and the magnification is not standard so with the vibration it is unusable. So I'm looking for a mirror, but really just the glass, if anyone has a seriously bashed up spare mirror they don't mind parting with, so I can retrieve the glass I'd appreciate it. It's a (beautiful) carby one I'm after... Cheers Happy summer to all. Grant
Yes, I got these Oberon bar end mirrors with bar end weights which also reduced vibes. They don't stick out at all and you can see everything. Probably not for most carby purists though....better to have it looking right than riding safe,eh?
I have a couple in the garage of average condition, I'll PM you some pictures and you can pick which you might like.
I can confirm that Vitaloni Baby Turbos are identical to the original mirrors. Mine had been acid etched with Datatool markings. I bought two new Baby Turbos. I think i may have bought the last ones from the company that took over Vitaloni as they said that they were the last pair they had and at that stage had no plans to produce more. Mine arrived with a broken glass in one and they sent me two more glasses to repair but they are totally flat, not convex so didn't bother to fit them. You have to smash the old glass out to remove it and glue the two metal fixings on to the new glass.

Funnily enough my nearside one fell off in the course of a pre-MOT run this morning. I turned around and found it (unbroken). And then learned (happily) that you can get an MOT with one mirror, so long as it's the offside one.
