?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. I like the way the French PM is telling the EU not to give the UK any good trade deals - reason given on the news was so the French people would not want a Referendum to leave themselves - what an idiot, what are these people on :)

  4. kind of what governments do. they are elected to look after the self interest of their supporters and hopefully (for them) they can drag enough over the line to make them a majority.

  5. Many of those being represented would argue it's not in their interest and 'for the greater good' arrogance shown by those in power can be tested. It was here, and look what happened

  6. yip. if ever you needed proof.

  7. yesterday, I was reading an article about the Labour party elections. One of the people interviewed said: "we want to put this to one side and get on with changing society".

Anyone who thinks they know what's best for the rest of us is most likely wrong. For a long time, I've thought that serious issues should always go to a public vote. It's not impossible to set up an online voting system. We'd have far more democracy than we get now with elections every five years.

  8. or we get far more bull shit in the press to promote it.

  10. Absolutely.

And by the way, how is that goal you have of working less hours and having less stress....... and being able to see as much of the world as possible before you croak it? Still waiting for the right time to put it into effect?

  11. clear as poo

  12. Fair enough, but they still have their own agenda and slant on things, it just happens to coincide with yours ;)

  13. deffo. it says so on the tin. difference being, and its kind of like Heinz or non branded. there's more beans than sauce.

  14. i guess one good thing has come out of brexit.
a general acceptance that the BBC and the rest of the BUM aint there for the benefit of you or me.

  15. that's amusing, but not unexpected. We DO receive some of our contribution back in grants and other subsidies, but Brexit will leave a hole in the EU budget and that will need to be made up somehow.
It's natural that the most powerful and richest country will be required to contribute more.
Personally, IF they stay together (and I'm not convinced they will, at least not without some adjustment), I can see taxes being raised to help make up the shortfall. Maybe they'll look at Google and Amazon to help out, but whatever, our position as an offshore haven will be bolstered.

    IMHO.

  16. This week we have had the French treasury bloke saying they are bankrupt, the Italians saying UK leaving will reverse their trend moving out of attrition and Junker giving it big-billy-bollox about no deals.

If nothing else it's great entertainment
