  2. I guess you could look at that two ways. Why not , if it doesn't bust your back then crack on , or also why the hell would you put all that on a hyper sports bike when you could do it better on a bike built for mile munching at touring speeds?

  3. Lol - I always used to ride to trackdays and back. Now I go in a van with tools tyre warmes etc etc... I might go back to the riding approach with all my kit like ths :grinning:

Rode to the Slovakia Ring the week before last. 1100 miles in two days - was expecting to have comfort issues but didn't at all.

My luggage was somewhat smaller than our Aussie counterpart :)

  5. Christ, that's a bit much. I've just done 6000 miles round Europe on mine with a fraction of that.

  7. I rode through Europe a few weeks ago on a pani. Only really stopped for fuel, the comfort seat killed my ass but other than that no problems.

  8. I used the Race seat, I found it more comfortable than the Comfort seat.

  9. I tried the standard seat out today and found it slightly better, however the heat difference is massive !

I went to Scotland last week the only problem was get on/off the bike with short legs, standard seat was fine

  12. That's the way to best tour on a Panigale. I went to the south of Italy a few years back with a load more weight and it was still awesome but once I removed some stuff the bike was so much more fun. It's badass that the Australian guy is doing all that crazy stuff but I doubt he's able to remove it all to properly enjoy the bike when he gets to some good roads.

  13. How does the Duc compare to the Busa in terms of performance mate ?

  14. In hands of my mate a lot better, they also have a lot more power also better wind protection and a more up right riding position, not much in acceleration tho on our recent test on a private road I was hitting 130 and he was getting 150

  15. Really, I thought panigale's put out more power than a Busa?

  16. 190 vs 146

  17. It's an 899 there.

  20. I've done a weekend ride with loads of petrol stops, don't know if that's touring lol. This bike will sit all day at high speed, it's the most stable bike I've had. I would never get some sort of touring screen, would be asking for trouble.
