I said id never do it but today I took my daughter out on my bike....she has a week of work experience at the zoo (I think they'll have her cleaning up bird shit personally - she wants to be a vet) but the zoo is on one side of the city we live on the other and my work is over the other side - I was set to leave early and take the car and my wife said "why don't you take her on the bike? youll be going no more than 30mph?" so I did, and she loved it I think...so the hyper has become the new taxi service for the week...! Did the whole trip in about 40 mins.....im guessing the car would have been well over and hour....
Just surfacing after getting back to the hotel in Salou from the FIB festival in Benicassim at 3:30am. Too old for this but the 2 girls had an incredible time. I'd say chillin for the rest of the day but it's 30 degrees already. Off to find some churros and a coffee in an air conditioned cafe. Andy
Second ride on the bike, first one to work and back this year! Wrists are killing, guess that's fatigue and getting used to the new rosso3's :flushed:, found myself being very aware of what's around me!!! guess I was hanging on too tight, I'm sure that'll fade away again though, My back really did hold up well, actually think my pain is coming from using a clutch in the car....... wife doesn't want an auto, so this could also be 2 more cars coming:grimacing: anyone work in car sales?? now looking for a Rosso 3 thread to give my first test a sound-out.........

Arrived at Heathrow from an 11 hour flight at 6am to a major heatwave in the UK. This afternoon has been a bit of a slog as I don't sleep well on planes, nearly there though...
Been a couple of degrees cooler here in Salou than in Basingstoke, still very pleasant at the Port Aventura Carribean theme water park though. Could have done without falling out of a double rubber ring getting into the lazy river ride, cracked my head as I went under and it was pointed out to me halfway round that my head was bleeding. Took an inch of skin off the top of my head, you know, the bit next to the bit that didn't have any hair :Arghh:. Almost time for a couple of pints of pain killer then to bed early because as they say, tomorrow is another day - of sunshine and blue sky. Andy
