has anyone bought one yet ? I used to have the old 1100 AC Hypermotard, but quite frankly thought it was a little lacking in torque. Fancy a new strada as they are more practical/useful, but I am not sure if this new engine is gonna float my boat ??
bloody hell...you thought the old 1100 didn't enough torque....yours must have been broken...mine lifts on 1st 2nd and 3rd off the throttle..! That probably the sole reason I own mine...the 821 and to a lesser extent have had the torque curve moved higher up...
My 939 lifts 1st, 2nd and occasionally 3rd if I time it right with a tug of the bars. Has a strong midrange. It's no 1299, but certainly has enough power for hooligan antics. Oh and it handles amazing! Just seems to have infinite lean and inspires more confidence than ANY sportsbike could.
