Where do they look to get there auction estimates, cloud cuckoo land ? Lots (no pun intended) of very tasty stuff but not at those prices. Andy
All part of the auction hype game - they just know they will get some punter with more money then knowledge or sense
Great collection, great cause and a very generous unselfish donation that will undoubtably save or prolong life but who came up with the projected prices???
Ive not considered selling my beloved Vincent - it took me 42 years to fulfill my dream of owning a Vincent! - but I will watch with interest to see what mental £££££ it achieves?
Great cause, all credit to the guy - Bonham's usually greatly underestimate prices to get the bidding going which can result in bargains on the day :Angelic:
Only just spotted the "Egli" - I think that they've got that on the low side @ £25 - 30,000? Especially if it is a proper thing! The French and Germans are mad for Eglis
If the Egli Vincent or the Henderson go under the hammer for the sort of estimate they have put on them - my 1958 Riva search will be going on the back burner for ever!
It's plugged in now! I smashed my iPhone 6S + and I've stuck sim in an old 4s I had from years ago - battery is twice as good as 6s+
Now I'm back in Blighty I will get on mateys case about the Suzy SV 1000 deal - he went all quiet on me but I know his Mrs is bang on his back to get it gone asap
