  1. Just got back home from a long old day which started at 9.00am in Antwerp Central - train to Brussels to pick up Euro Rattler.Massive Army,Armed police and undercover plod in Antwerp last night and on the streets in Antwerp and Brussels Midi. They were stopping, searching and ID checking anyone with the slightest Middle Eastern or African appearance and were armed to the max! - Made me feel nervous and safe at the same time? They must be expecting another terrorist outrage any day? Arrived at St.Pancreas - no army,no visable armed police and just 2 guys on customs who didn't pull or question anyone that I could see??? No OB or B T Police on Victoria line or Bakerloo? Didn't see one policeman/woman at Waterloo station and I was waiting 15/20 mins for my train.Saw plenty of luggage cases and rucksacks without their owners anywhere nearby! Am I getting paranoid or are we just not taking this shit seriously and thing the UK is immune?

  2. My mate is arguing that it won't happen here because although a two pull or an old pistol can be got for under £1000 fairly easily (if you know the right pub) - heavy duty fully automatic weapons are still pretty rare in the UK? My argument is that a loon in a rented/Stolen HGV Lorry or a fairly simplistic home made bomb can have a worse effect than a gunman - as has been proved

  3. Not many trophies tho

  4. Would like to go and have a look at the Mannheim or Hockenheim Museums. However is will be work work work until we fly home on Monday. Fingers crossed we don't have a pit wall fuck up like we did at Hungarian GP.
It's just a tad embarrassing having the car arrive unannounced.

  5. A tad ? Review after?

    Meeting -no tea. No biscuits

  6. Today has been a long day. Started by getting out of bed at 5am, and I was in the office at 5.40am. Did some admin then left to meet some Spanish clients to discuss a couple of projects. Took them to a couple of slopes and finally dropped them off at their hotel at 8.45pm. I got home bang on 10pm. I'm knackered but I can't sleep yet :(

  7. All of a sudden, I've come to my senses. Karting not a great idea. About to get shown up by a bunch of kids and look like a silly old fart.

  9. I might be test riding a XDiavel today on the recommendation of a number of riders who normally ride 1299's and said I should have a go cos it's a hoot.

And if it doesn't happen today then it will definitely happen tomorrow.

  10. Well I've got the XDiavel for a couple of days. And I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised so far.

The engine is a peach, and the handling is light and sharp. It certainly has made me smile on the 40 miles or so I've done so far.

However I'm not entirely convinced by the feet forward stance yet, though I got used to it after about 10 mins.

More comment to come over the next couple of days.

  12. Your back will ache after a short while, as the seating position hasn't changed following your last report of riding a Diavel :Snaphappy::Watching:
