yeah, they will.
to be honest with myself - i am not all that upset re: anniversario. it was really impulsive buy and i wasn't on the market for a new bike anyway having just bought 1198R.
if i would have been allocated one i would have taken it and flogged my 1199s, but now i know for sure i am not getting one i am at peace with myself and very happy indeed that i never told my bird about me putting deposit down for anniversario...

 

Same as me then, as I only went to the dealer to have a few bits to put on the 959, next thing I know I've put a deposit down for the Anniversario and sold the 959! Went home and said to mrs not sure wtf happened, but new bike coming soon :grimacing:.

 

BTW.
my dealer told me that they have 4 people on the list with deposits for new DESMO. and it could cost up to £80k
at this point i lost interest.

going to put deposit down now for 1959 MG A my missus always wanted instead.

Ordered mine 5th July and was first to order at my dealer. Not heard anything else despite repeated requests for info. Is the one per dealer rule a definite?

Your dealer should have confirmation by now, mine certainly has and from what I've been reading elsewhere so have many others. Have they at least said you'll be getting the bike should they get one?

 

I have had confirmation from my local dealer that my order is secured. However, I have not seen an official order or indeed been informed of a delivery date. Has anyone had either of these as yet? I don't think for one minute I haven't secured one as I have a great relationship with the dealer and indeed the sales exec, so I'm neither concerned or worried. I'd just like to know when I lose one of my kidneys.

 

All I've managed to confirm is I'm first in line at that dealer. Given what I'm spending communication has been poor, even a quick "hi still waiting for info this end" would have done. They don't open Mondays so we'll see what today brings.
