?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  2. In modern politics, Left and Right refer to red herrings, not actual ideologies.

  3. obviously the reference point changes through time.
forgive me i thought that was a given. doh.

  8. ehat else is there? Other than democracy (because we do have that, we can vote for who we like) what is there?
    Communism?

  9. How about a meritocracy, such as seen in RA Heinlein's Starship Troopers?

That would work, until such time as the giant bugs strike ...

  11. Is it democracy if you are voting for MPs who are being bought by those with money and or influence?

You are only able to vote for the choices you are given, none of whom are really acting in your best interests. They always put their Party's interests first.

  12. This too. What he f**k is she thinking? It's like she's detemined to lose the German elections next year.

The German people have put up with a lot in the last couple of years, how much more will they take?

  13. Christ on a bike, I clicked on the first link in Lightning's post.
I feel like I need a shower now. I thought the Daily Express was scraping the barrel but I've seldom seen such a hideous collection of lies and racist stories since I followed a link that ended up on the EDL site. It quotes Katie Hopkins as a credible source for fuck sake.
If that's the level of his political thought and argument I'm putting him on ignore from now on just in case I end up following a link similar.

  14. 'Lionheart news' - a wonder who is behind a name like that? :tearsofjoy:

  15. Yes it is. Because YOU can choose to stand if you wish.

  16. Disagree. I wish more politicians would stand by their own decisions and leadership. And, btw, she is right: we do have an obligation to assist those who (lets be frank) we put in that position to start with.

But it should start with the UN growing some balls and sorting Russia and Syria out. Aleppo has been cut off for weeks now, no humanitarian support at all, Drs working 20 hrs a day, no food or fuel, yet the amazing, all inclusive (and righteous) EU and UN do f*ck all.

    That is a travesty
