eh!?! who said anything about owning! - the power of the Uno is something to be scared of, in the wrong hands it could be dangerous, definitely not to be underestimated
Mr C bugger I've had the luxury sport clutch done and now starting to save for another. Good car that!!!! I've been advised to get another Astra model up from mine 1.4 8valve. Not 16v But that's a fine price for a golf!!! I didn't see that... I needed a car urgent as had to drive to London in 2 days so had to grimace and scrape cash of little old astra fix
My uncle was a massive, massive yank car fan and owned a couple..one of my bessie mates owned the 'knight rider' shaped version, in white, with a bue eagle on the bonnet..very tasteful...and quite possibly the worst car he ever had.. case in point....light shower of rain, turning right at a large traffic light controlled junction...it spun a complete 360 degrees, all at about 15 mph... My family had a yanl car, the worst car my dad ever owned..he hated it and spent most weekends trying to fix it...totally and utterly stupid designing everywhere...the glove box was about 18" wide, but only about 1" deep..you couldnt get a can of deicer in there, maybe a pack of mints....it bottomed out on every bump in the road..again my dad used to have to repair the exhaust on a weekly basis because it used to get pulled apart from decking out...it used to deck out over every speed bump in every carpark we ever went to.... The happiest ive ever seen my Dad was when he became a grandad, divorced my mum, and sold that fkn american shitheap....
always loved crx's had a 1.5 12 valve ,a 16i 16v, a 1.6 v tec, and a 1.6 v tec convertible. i tend to stick with what i like.
This my baby, Always wanted one since they came out. Finally picked up mine the day after coming home from WDW2012 cheered me up somewhat.
No, not standard. had a guy called Tony Banks in leeds build me the quad s/s setup back to cat. Finishes the back off in my opinion thanks.
Is it just me but I have to say that cars just don't do it for me anymore. And I've had some nice/super fast ones in my time. But nowadays doing between 30-50,000 company miles per annum I find that as long as a car gets me places safely, comfortably and quickly then I'm not really that bothered what the car actually is. :frown:
