  6. Very nice job done there, care to mention the polishers name fujack. Being nosey really as I would like mine done over the winter.

  7. It a place in sandhurst if you let me know and I give him notice he does it for me while I wait or drop off one day collect the next

  8. How much did he charge for that, looks great

  9. Is that not what winter nights are for?

Hand polishing your pipes round an open fire!

Done my termi system to a mirror finish....took longer than on a bench with an electric mop but winter is quite long these days.

  10. they quoted £90-120 but would have to post up there, Sandhurst is up the road almost, could be open fire and polish over those cold winter nights! :)

  11. Didn't someone on here quote ~£50 a go for a machine polish..?

  12. Takes a day to prep a Termi for mirror finish but some are happy with just shiny? maybe I should spend less time on them...lol

  13. I did my standard system last year by hand, and its yellow again now. Anyway to stop it? High temp lacquer I considered?

  14. arthurbikemad,i'm a bit confused now,are you saying that you had your pipes polished at the same place as fujack's or that you have done them yourself? If you did them yourself do you do it for a living?
And fujack, what is the place in Sandhurst that you use incase arthurbikemad is not in a position to do other peoples pipes.

  15. Hi mate I do my own polishing but the OPs place sounds like a deal tbh as I charge a little more and also I hate doing them...lol

As for keeping your pipes in top top condition a wipe down with autosol (hate for alloy but good for stainless and they now do a stainless paste) will keep them from going off colour and maintain a nice shine..

  16. Arthur did mine and they look absolutely fantastic, shame that the finish is so bad as standard after you've spent all that hard earned cash! also I use the stainless autosol as Arthur suggests to keep them that way, to be honest they don't seem to have " gone off " at all.
