So what have you done today..?

  1. I have been nursing pulled intercostal muscle since Friday after sneezing awkwardly
Dosed up on the usual painkillers woke Saturday went to work thought I was having a heart attack the pain was so bad I couldn't change gear in car. Visited walk in doctors
Had to miss Jens BBQ as no way could I drive that distance
    Got some naproxen
Today it's feeling more comfy I can move my arm upwards not been able to do that since Friday
I'm on holiday this week so the rest will do me good

Bloody shoulder injuries are a pain as time is going on

  2. Well you missed a gang bang at Jens :p

  3. Took my 696 for its MOT today - passed with no problem, phew!

Makes a change from the annual ritual of it failing first time due to wheel bearings, and my having to phone Moto Rapido or Snells to book it in urgently for yet another set of bearings before the current MOT expires.

Tester stuck his head round the door into the waiting room to ask if my bike had really done 56,000 miles - I don't think he believed the clocks (as if a Ducati should only have done 560 or 5600 miles)!

  12. Cleaned my leathers. They looked like I'd been using them as a fly swatter for a couple of months.

  13. Cleaned my leathers today too - without even trying

  14. Need a few test rides too. I like the idea but not 100% its the bike for me, yet. If i commuted i'd defo have one but as its only sunny evenings and Sunday mornings not sure if i'd still be on the sports bikes all the time. But they do look great fun and I need to slow down a bit, occasionally.

Pretty set on an 1100 Evo SP though.

But I like the looks/colour scheme of this:
Used Ducati Hypermotard DUCATI 1100 from Ducati Aylesbury

  17. Yeah, I leave about the same distance south too....

I'm also looking to do a day at Bedford (never been there before) what date are you doing? If you fancy it, we could meet up and discuss all things Ducati

  18. That ones really nice... It'd be a really expensive if you wanted to mod it on top of the stock build... But as I say lovely if you keep it totally stock... Ie mines got loads done to it.... All the stuff I wanted to do so my spend has been minimal...

  19. Sure, 3rd October with NL. Was booked there on 31st May but it was called off after 3 laps due to waterlogged track they couldn't clear, standing water everywhere. Was biblical.

3rd October got to be dry, [emoji10] .

Looks a good track though, very flat with a long back straight.

  20. Great - I'll make a note in my diary....
