I been thinking I might get some front and rear number boards for my red 749, in black. Any photos out there with black on red? where is the best place to buy? I found some on eBay but at 50 quid per end I find this highly expensive for what is only a sticker. Any experience with other suppliers? Looking forward to your thoughts. Bluey.

Wow remind me to sort out my million photos. Not very close up this one. Surprised I haven't got more of the bike tbh . It's in a few bits just now but I'll take a close up later. Mine is a single seat version and I haven't been able to find the number board for the back yet.
Ditto... Just my twopence worth but not sure what black number-boards will look like on a red bike,i would try and photoshop a pic before fitting them as they might be a bit difficult to remove if you don't like them.
I have spare mint facelift nose with white number board if anyone wants a swap for same without. Its motographix with DucatiWolverhampton on it but that might tcut off.
Yellowducmaniac - is that motografix on the rear of yours? That would be the one I can't find for the single seat unit ?
Hi Conradv2...the rear tail number-boards come as standard on the 999S mono in both red and yellow. Only the nose is a Motografix item,i've never seen motografix tail boards for the 749/999 ,however if you try 'The image works' i'm sure they will make some up for you, not sure how to post a link but easy enough to find by Google.
