Exactly mate, with what we're spending we really shouldn't have to keep chasing these things up. The fault/blame does appear to be with Ducati rather than our dealers though. Fingers crossed you get the beast. @mvman sod that having to wait until November and not exactly ideal time of year to take delivery!
Well been to see my dealer and the salesman is off today! Interestingly though when I booked my 899 in for some work the dealership system has me down as owning a 1299s Anniversario? Could this be a good sign i wonder?
Looks like the Americans are the first to start taking deliveries...not that I'm jealous or anything but the b@st@rds:Banghead: Ducati 1299 Panigale S Anniversario - Pictures and Info - Page 24 - Ducati 1299 Forum Least it'll be nice to start seeing some more pics of it and probably a video or two.
I've seen your pics on the .com site. Congrats on the bike and enjoy  Hopefully mine won't be much longer :grimacing:
I ordered mine on 06/07, just to give you some perspective.. UK is a neighboring country, I am sure it is on its way! And... You will NOT be disappointed, in real it is drooling gorgeous
Looks lovely,i am sure you will grow into it .I ordered mine on the 2/7 and the order was put in on the 4/7 so you have my bike !!!!!
Just had confirmation my bike will be here on Tuesday , by coincidence I happen to have a day off on Tuesday so I will nip over and watch it being unwrapped , pics to follow. Cue everyone ringing there dealers.
Popped into JHP yesterday to sort out final details on the bike, not going to mad with the extras on this one,Akras will be fitted at pdi, full ventureshield kit, throttle spacers and tracker,i will be putting a plate on it that has been on retention for years so as i know the reg i gave Ducati insurance a ring, they actually have the bike listed on there system which was a surprise but it has been referred to the underwriter, should hear back Monday,my neighbour reversed into my parked car on Tuesday so i had to declare a pending claim so we will see how much it effects my insurance premium.Oh i will be picking up the bike on Saturday morning so if you are local pop in and say hello,i will be easy to spot just look for the grin
You can go off people very quickly . Seems pointless to say "enjoy" because we all know you will. Photos and detailed opinion are mandatory. Andy
dropped in to beverly hills ducati this week. can't say had good experience. sales guy (i think he was owner actually) looked me up and down and when i asked if he had any anniversarios in stock ,told me (quite patronisingly) that they not been released till september. and then walked off when he realised i was foreign and he's not gonna get sale out of me. not very impressed! next day dropped in some place else in LA, had good experience and now i am a very proud owner of classic mustang
lol, called in on Sunday. Even though I got my order in on the Monday and deposit paid looks like mine will be September at the earliest. I'm looking forward to seeing the bike un-boxed and unveiled to the masses. I am also waiting for DI to come back to me regarding insurance.
Mrs is dropping me off at 10is so should be there until about midday, I will be the fat bugger with the bald head, be good to put a face to the name.
