Well, it's going on it's first drive tomorrow, putting it to good use for its first journey - frame is going to visit @rcv4 in Hull tomorrow for a bit of TIG
Great progress today by Chad while I smoked his baccie :Wideyed: - back to Hull Saturday with the Engine
It's no wonder you buy all this exotica..........you smoke everyone else's cigs and tobacco! Isn't that right @bettes ?
You can afford to buy a new bike, I have to make mine which is bloody hard. Do you realise how long it took to find a specialist welder close by that Smokes :Wideyed:
Another day at Chad's on Saturday for round 2 of the welding. It was the most critical day of the project by far - seeing if the frame would be level and line up with his Frame Jig. If not, at worse it could be a major cut up and re think! Luckily all went even better than expected with the frame lining up centrally and the frame tube being bang on level - major sigh of relief and a Jaffa Cake and Chocolate Hob Nob calibration followed shortly after
Some detail shots: further progress is due on Saturday thanks to Chad and his mighty fine Welding Emporium
This version will have modern suspension (Ohlins Front and Penske Rear) & fat wheels so no picture other than in my head. This is the original version which will follow...
Its coming together nice, all your efforts and hard work are making my job easy mate...keep up the good work and dont forget the jaffa cakes.
