18 months for a headlight is poor, I really thought things were better than that. There's always tales of problems from all manufacturers, I've also got a 30000mile Triumph Explorer that's never missed a beat, some owners on the forum have had nothing but unreliability and poor parts supply. Have had a quick look over on aprilia forum and generally they seem happy enough Sorry to hear your experience with Aprilia wasn't a good one, its noted. But regardless I've still get to get the test ride done. All the best with the Monster, nice bike
I would urge you to do so - The Tuono is a fantastic machine. Piaggio UK aside I have no other complaints about my time with the bike. ... Well, I did wish that they'd anodised/powder coated the bare aluminium cycle parts. The front brake, though Brembo, was a little wooden, I put that down to the axial master cylinder. The tail tidy, it was the official Aprilia unit, would only fit Italian number plates. None adjustable OEM clutch lever. But I am nitpicking and joking, all of these things I was able to address with aftermarket parts and in the case of the tail tidy, with an angle grinder.
