I can't remember Steve Hislop getting his elbow down in 2002 on his Ducati, when he was going around Donington faster than the GP boys including a Mr Rossi, a lap of 1:31.
That's because the internet was rubbish back then and it would have taken ages to upload his pictures to his favourite forum
few shots from Silverstone the other day, just a shame the only good ones i'm wearing that blummin bi b! :tearsofjoy:
Bought the R6 last weekend and on Monday took it to Cadwell. Still keeping the Monster 12R, and indeed all the Duc kit
Few pictures from Donington last week in the scorching sunshine. First time on the RC8, which is still in road trim. I had a great time on it, the RC8 is going to make a cracking track bike...
Thanks. Yeah I paid to be a 'privilege customer' with Pete Wileman meaning I ended up with over 100 photos for the £30. The above have all been tweaked slightly in Photoshop, but yep they're good pics. RC8 is fantastic, I really like it. Just need to sort out the clunky gear shift - which the early bikes all suffer with - stick some race fairings on it, plus some rearsets as I was scraping the pegs and my toes everywhere and it'll pretty much be done. Stock WP suspension seems decent. Can't wait to take it Silverstone next month.
The 959 at SilverstoneGP on 25th Aug. I swear my knee and toe were down every time apart from in this photo! (Photo from Peter Wileman)
