  1. Got absolutely smashed on a canal boat till 4am. Now about to eat lots of food then get smashed again :)

  4. Today I started to make a luggage rack for the 748, looks like I'm camping at the iom next year.

  5. Took our neighbour's son (11 ish) out for a spin in the Solent on our little rib. Let him drive (got up to 25 knots - not bad for a Yamaha 50HP 2 stroke with four people onboard). I think he might find dinghy sailing a bit dull now....

Yesterday we went to my brothers 30th wedding anniversary BBQ. #1 son an family came too so it was nice to be able to show off my two grandchildren to old friends I'd not seen for years as we live a couple of hours away. And the both looked cute, acted impeccably and played well with all the other little kids all day. Which was a bonus :upyeah:

    We all left the party around 9.30 and drove home through torrential rain, particularly around the Leeds area where this weekend they are holding the Leeds festival. My heart went out to all the festival goers who were camping this weekend :D

  12. Thirty mile cycle ride round the Somerset levels, the last ten miles in torrential rain, got drenched, my waterproof socks ain't! But my cheap Lidl / Aldi hi viz cycling waterproof was fantastic!

Local pub has bands on all weekend and a mighty fine selection of real ales - could hear it sitting in our living room so seemed rude not to join in 'Drop the Fish' were awesome but today I realised I haven't used my moshing/head banging muscles for a good few years Riding to Weymouth today could be fun !

  19. Still on the 899. I'm putting on the miles till I get the 959 on Thursday (new reg)

    Did over 200 miles today at a rather brisk pace :)
