Well that's all I am seeing on Twitter at the moment, I thought he'd go for another year maybe... Looks like a spare seat now in the Aprilia garage
Shame he's going. I would have loved to have seen him hang around long enough to fight it out with Rossi if he had got a WSB seat. His departure does leave a seat on one of the top bikes in the paddock. Somebody give Tommy Hill a call
Great stuff , now at least Eugene Laverty won't be under team orders from Aprilia instead of being an afterthought. The difference a bit of data sharing made to him at the end of last season was obvious for all to see.
(Quote- Sylvain Guintoli could now be approached to replace Biaggi as Eugene Laverty's team-mate in 2013) The offer of a ride with the factory Aprilia Racing squad was reported in MCN as being the reason Ginters pulled out of the Fixi Crescent Suzuki ride he`d agreed to at Magny Cours.
Stroppy old git or not....it's another loss of a 'character' from the sport. Probably to be replaced be a robot devoid of any kind of personality or charisma!
Respect to Max. 40 plus and still at the top. Could not think of a better time to gracefully retire. I always think its a shame to see top riders decline on second rate bikes before they decide to knock it on the head.
was a moody git but talented but Rossi always had his number , that wheelie when he nearly lost it always will be remembered
Definitely a a great rider unfortunately only ever ranked as the second best rider ever to come out of italy Ago being unbeatable at No1
So you don't like him then? But that's not my fault....so there's no need to swear at me like it is. I'm not really a Biaggi fan, but I did see Biaggi signing autographs at Donington Park this year, I'm a motorcycle racing fan and maintain that it's sad to see the riders that entertain leaving.
