Yeah, the Desmo does have something of the Lesley Ash about it. 999 front end does nothing for me. Give me the classic twin horizontal light set up of the 996, 1098 or Panigale

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess... And 999 is indeed recognised as the number you need when you have real problems tbf...
The 916 is as close to perfect as it gets... Why? Well even its fabled number spells perfect symmetry.. Turn 916 upside down and you get 916.. Perfect! Now turn 999 on its head and what do you get ? Yep, 666 the sign of the ugly beast.. I rest my case........... IMO
Turn 1098 upside down and you get 8601 which is an internationally accepted way to represent dates and times using numbers.
