I agree John, that cover is listed for a lot of different shape bikes. I have a SF and 1098 with the original Ducati covers, and there's no way they could be interchangeable, but that cover is listed as fitting both. I think this cover wouldn't be the best fit. The genuine 1098 cover has sections for the mirrors and fits like a glove. The SF cover (left) wouldn't fit as there is no room for the screen. You may have some luck finding a 1098 cover on here, that's where I got mine. If not, I'd have bitten the bullet and bought the same cover from the dealer.

I have the above cover on my 1198 and it works well without breaking the bank. I believe the ones specific to the 1198 have a graphic of the bike on the side profile. This one is definitely generic, but the other one was something like three times the cost if you could find it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The pic of the one I posted is the specific 848 / 1098 / 1198 cover. It was updated to include the graphic of the bike on the side of the cover later (and the price was hiked up !) I have one of these, I ordered it from USA when I had my 848 Evo. Fits really well and is very soft. Think they are still available
Thanks for all your help, managed to get hold of the fully fitted version overseas. FYI, the ones Andy mentioned earlier in the thread (Genuine Ducati Performance Indoor Bike Dust Cover, Panigale, 899 1199 1299 1098 | eBay) are now discontinued and as soon as they are all sold, thats it, so SMC Sheffield said when I asked.
