899 Adjusting Whole Clutch Lever/master Cylinder Setup

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Miike, Sep 2, 2016.

  1. I've got short levers on my bike and whilst the brake is spot on, the clutch is too short for my liking. I loosened the bracket on the handlebar to see if it was possible to adjust it but there appears to be a retaining pin on the handlebar holding it in position.

Can I remove the pin and adjust it or am I better off not messing around with it?

  2. I just pulled mine out with some needle nosed pliers because I had the same issue. Just takes some working but it'll pop out!

  3. As DanABZ said, the pin can be removed. I tried very short levers on a previous 1098 and the clutch was too short. I am now using Rizoma levers which are shorter than OEM but not as short as levers like ASV.
