Hi I've just purchased a 2006 Ducati 749 with 18k miles. No MOT and the fairing needs to be replaced along with both the front and rear brake levers but overall it isn't in too bad a shape and cheap at £800. Will update this post with some images. The battery was flat so I couldn't start the bike but the dash sprang into life and it did turn over. Brand new Bridgestone tyres and only done 100 miles since last MOT. Previous owner dropped it at low speed. It's the barcode fairing which I'm not a huge fan of and I've seen kits on Ali Express for a few hundred quid. With the fairings and brake levers replaced I should have a fairly good looking bike. Will probably need some help sourcing parts etc in the future and hope I can contribute to the forum.
You need facelift fairing for that 05-06. The numbers inside end in C. 03-04 are different and numbers end with A. You cant mix n match. A complete 03-04 set will fit your nose cone but with a few small gaps. You can tell them apart by looking at the barge board/fixing. Hard to find s/h. Good luck.
Yeah it's from Ghetto Industries. Regarding the fairing I could do with some help. I've been looking at these but don't want to risk something that isn't going to fit or leave panel gaps Shop ducati 749 fairing online Gallery - Buy ducati 749 fairing for unbeatable low prices on AliExpress.com
Is there a recommended supplier to get a complete fairing kit from that won't break the bank. With some stainless fasteners it would look great.
Search on here for chinese fairings and aftermarket, race fairings, theres been a couple of threads with recomendations.
