See that's what grates on me - customer shouldn't have to do that. Ducati should have already sorted the fuelling, lumpiness. As said earlier, it's half arsed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Or... Find an s at a shop, trade yours, clear the finance then set up a new agreement on the new bike... They'd snap up a nearly new bike... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
It's like just supplying bike with one wheel and leaving customer to sort out the other Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, the lumpiness is a trait of the v twin.... Ducati do the fueling that way cos of euro regs... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
Maybe this is an Italian way of saying "please fuck off and buy a nice little car, a Nissan micra perhaps"? Bet you put cushions on the back shelf and some soft toys on the dashboard to help you bond with it :bluecar:
Jeez... That's shitty but, if you were re buying then the price would be better I guess... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
Well, yes, thats a point..... Mines a clunky, noisy, involving piece of work and I love it... But that's why I own it... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
They say that but I have my suspicions, they not quite as good as they think they are. I don't think they have the right people in house. Bet if another (b)m(w)anufacturer were allowed to look at it for them, they would fix it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Or a dyno operator.... Ive ridden an 1100evo totally stock and a correctly setup one with a full system.... The difference is night and day... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
sorry to be a little of topic, quick question, does the dp ecu that comes with the termis solve this so called crap fueling? mines has the ecu but does mapping make much more difference?
cost vw a few million cheating emission regs ;-) quiet a few manufacturers have shitty fueling other than ducati
Oh yes! You need to get a custom map on there! Just to elaborate - a custom map will give better fueling as it'll be tuned to your exact setup...dyno operators (if they know their stuff) will tune the cylinders independently of each other as in the vtwin case the rear cylinder will perform differently to the front...air flow being the main issue. Other stuff can be added in too...ie flapper valve deleted (I know the stock dp ecu does this but if you get your stock ecu tuned you can flog the old one) my hyper for example has had 500rpm added to the top end, engine braking reduced and the o2 sensors deleted also (less wiring) All in all a good thing.
