Supported the local Reading IAM Observers' training run today. 20 of us (8 associates, 8 observers and 4 hangers on) did 160 of the best biking miles Wiltshire and NW Berkshire had to offer on a fabulous day. Got some good feedback on my riding, made a couple of tweeks after the second observed run and had a really enjoyable fast social run back from Wantage. Knackered now but looking forward to an evening of the today's BSB and MotoGP and a curry . Andy
I meant to add that I think we saw/sat next to the actress Sarah Lancashire yesterday on the beach in Port de Pollenca. If it wasn't her then she has a doppelgänger

Went for a lovely meal last night at the local golf club( in Jamaica ) very posh restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, it was situated along side the main road on the open air roof of the club,the sound of the traffic was droning in the background I could hear a motorbike in the distance getting closer then without warning the sound of the engine stopped followed by that horrible sound of bike sliding on tarmac, no idea what happened but we are on a quiet unlit section of road , the restaurant staff ran to the aid of the rider and myself and a few other chaps went out to see if we could help in anyway, I am not going to go into detail but the scene will be etched in my memory forever, certainly gave me a lot to think about.While we are name dropping we were sat next to Valdarama nice chap always carries a football under his arm.
Not good mate, not good. I'm a member of a local FB group who meet and go for rides. I've only just joined and went a few weeks back to meet them all, seem a really nice lot. Yesterday, on their normal Sunday morning group ride out one of them didn't make it back. Very sad, certainly makes you think when you have a young family........
Cycled this morning in the Black Forest, temp gauge on a pharmacy showed 34 degs, this was up in the Hills! This afternoon out on the scrambler, all but run in now.

NEW HOME WANTED !!!!! This is Lexi, she’s an 8 week-old German Shepherd, I bought Lexi as a surprise for my wife but it turns out she is allergic to dogs so we are now looking to find her a new home. She is 59 years old, has a reasonable temper and is a caring woman who drives, is a great cook and keeps a good clean house.
