Was think of fitting some tank and tail sliders for a bit of added crash protection. My only concern is I have heard the silicone can damage the paint and they are a bugger to remove. Anyone had some and removed that can advise? Cheers
I havnt' tried to remove them but with a tank costing close to £2000 it's a no brainer. I've seen bikes with very slight marks on the paint where they have been removed but it looked like they could be polished out with a bit of elbow grease.
I removed them when i had a paint job... no probs came off and just a bit of polish was needed .. Pic below of them installed on my ducati.
