  1. Looks awesome that does!

Do you need it connected ti wifi to track where you are? or can you enter track information into it beforehand?

  2. Hey buddy do you have a link as my mount on the fairing shakes like buggery........

  3. @Bazz - I've had a look on the Garmin website and the details of the Virb camera. I think it realises where it is via GPS location, but I stand to be corrected :confuse:

  4. Good bit a kit but I don't want to watch a video clip of a gentleman's leather clad arse...........:grinning:

  5. It really easy to use, and all the co-ordinates are contained within the GPS unit in the camera
You can watch it back at the track on your phone or iPad via wireless, which contains speed and g forces etc, but if you want it to add the track or laps etc, you do it on a bit of software you download from the garmin site called 'Verb Editor' and that will recognise that you're doing laps of a track, and ask you to set the start line and whichever data you want shown and how
I'm a complete 5yr old when it comes to editing software, and I can use it with ease, so it must be simple :)

  6. I would say that this is your normal view of me, but as your lap times were better than mine this week, I'll save that retort for next time :)

  7. So you do the editing and add all the jazz after you've made the video?

I like it, i've been meaning to get a go pro for myself, but i do like the look of this.

  8. The editing just adds the start and stop points of the video and any lap tracking
If I just download it from the camera in a raw format, it looks like this which still has speeds, an overlay of where I've been and a couple of other bits and bobs ; Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 17.09.48.png

  9. How much?

  11. Video of a near miss in Jerez last March. Just after the signing laps a guy has problems with his bike and is riding slowly down the start/stop straight. He's obscured from view until an instructor swerves to avoid him ahead of me. The lesson I learned, look ahead for clear space.

  12. Shit, that was close
Makes you wonder why he wasn't closer to the edge of the track if he was touring back in

  13. Strictly speaking they should have pulled off the circuit, it's usually covered in the briefing. Unexpected things happen on track (& on road) and I was interested in what to learn from it in order to minimise a future incident.

  14. During my last race
