Hi all, Can anyone recommend a set of road aftermarket levers for a 749 05 model. I've purchased a set of avs pps from eBay and when fitting them noticed that the front brake lever has not got the extra bit to keep the brake switch light in position so light is constantly on. I checked on eBay and most of the aftermarket are for race use only. I could keep them on and tape over the switch but that defeats the object. Thanks Simon
I had an Harris pair, very good, sold my 749 a few weeks back, whipped them off & stuck them on my 1098...
I've had Pazzos on my GSXR for 5 years and they have been amazing. Loved them to bits. Have just taken them off to sell and they are still box fresh and I reckon I'll get a chunk of the cost back selling them. Can't recommend them highly enough. Well worth the cost. If you know someone in the US you'll get them for about half the price of buying them here.
I have a set of Active levers for sale that would be perfect. Finish is lovely, adjustable and folding, billet made in Japan, and they should fit the 749 perfectly. http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f20/fs-active-billet-foldable-adjustable-brake-clutch-levers-4998/
How are they better? They are just really solid and well built. A lot better than the stock ones on the GSXR at least. Span adjustable to much more range, very positive feeling and they look much neater and cleaner than the stock ones. I found they made a huge difference to the feel of the controls.
Asv's on my 848 and love them, chazzos on my 749s and they have been brilliant too, the asv's win though, just love being able to set the levers perfect for my wee hands( and they look fikin sweet!)
