Had to drive JCB telliehandler all day, out of 20 brickie's only 8 turn in and 2 labours out 6, minus fork lift driver. Being there foreman still had all the other stuff to its like looking after a kinder garden half the time. So i been driving a yellow quattro, oh the speed of the thing:coldsweat:
A lot of people have just said take the points when they arrive and don't opt for court unless they do.. which hopefully they shouldn't ?
Woke 2 days ago with massive pain on the outside of my foot, this morning sitting in casualty waiting to see the doctor and hopefully an X-ray. Feckin pain city. Poor wifey has to put up with me.
Managed to get into work this morning after some twat pulled out of a junction on me .... looked at me then looked left then at me again and pulled out i would think there still picking up the bits of there mirror assemble on there new Corsa from all over the road after my size 10's addressed the situation ......
Just got a text from one of the drivers, "they are racing your car at the weekend and X is driving".... gutted!! I love my Ducati more than any other bike I've owned but I don't think anything will replace that...
It was a dual carriageway which is a 70. Due to me being a pleb and not knowing that my connect is classed as a commercial vehicle and not a car derived van. Basically it's a 60 not a 70 for my van, so I'm a bit of a knob really lol
I've just done some packing (if you can call 2 T shirts, pants, jeans and toiletries packing). I'm now waiting for this rain to stop then I'll be on my way to meet my pals to go to Donington for the weekend.
CR, I think I will probably do some track days on my old R6 next year.. The car racing is quite different and I can't spend money like that. I need to focus on my business, which has seen some unexpected challenges in recent weeks, 50/50 bit of a crap year really, lots of legal and political BS which I have not had to deal with until now. No gain, just time consuming and costly. I am hoping if I get my sheet together over winter, aiming for a less complex and better 2017. It's been good to meet some new people on here and no regrets about buying the Ducati. I just can't see how others don't feel as strong about it. A few people preferred the Honda but it's ok, I handled it with dignity and did the only humane thing... they are now under my patio. How dare they come round here eat my food and say those horrible things... have they no taste. Off to gym later today, how many hours training to work off a curry?
Worst thing about the "speed school" whole thing is the amount of total cocks asking moronic questions
Bit my lip and took the plunge by firing up my Suzy GT 550 today! Although it seemed to kick over freely it hasn't been run for a decade so I changed and flushed engine and new filters etc to give it every chance - also ran a bit of 2 stroke down bores a couple of weeks ago.It fired fully about 5th kick and totally smoked my lock up out! (And I mean smoked!!!) But sounds sweet even though it's got really shit expansion pipes fitted as new original spec pipes all arrived yet.Smoke cleared totally so now I'm thinking about just an exterior engine buff up rather than total strip n aggro time consuming rebuild - it's going to be ridden at weekends not shown or trailer queen
