Also limped my very old (13+ yrs!) Merc sprinter in baby poo yellow to Marius my polish spanner man for an opinion as of which way to go with the old girl as I'm getting bored of spending money on her! His words of wisdom were : " Jimmy, van is fukked - done 328,000 miles and you haven't missed a bloody panel or corner Matey - don't be cheapyskate and wave her goodbye!" His next line was " my cousin in Gadansk wants sprinter and yellow his wife's top colour". Sprinter now belongs to Marius cuz Marius and on way to Polski.Anyone got a cheap Vanski for me???
At the tunnel, heavy rain and long queues. Miserable journey all the way from Germany. Glad am towing not riding for once. Have discovered that when heading to Calais UK motorcyclists wave at you when towing a couple of motorbikes, nice.
My GT 550 left the factory in 1975/6 in black and it's still black in V5 despite being a nasty British key land metallic blue so will end up looking like the photo below!.All my mates are saying it looks boring and I should do a lively colour?Any thoughts???
I've thinned my bikes, cars, trucks n toys right down Andy - don't do loads of bike miles or distance runs cos of health shit nowadays so I'm putting this together as a bit of weekend fun as easy to ride and no muscle needed to start! You are welcome to it if and when I can no longer sling my leg over (a bike!)
Went to On Yer Bike at Westcott and finally found Carole some decent fitting leathers for ladies wot ride on the front of a bike. Really top notch quality and just in time for Jerez next week. Andy
Just the way it is, is fine for me . As is the Dainese Avro D2 which fits very well with Carole's 400RR colour scheme. Not too sure about the Diavel though. Andy
Not yet but I will give you tip of the day? Wait until 7/7.30 when teams are announced for my beloved CF v Liverpool and put a lump on David Luiz to score anytime (90 mins) - it's 9/1 @ moment and a very good chance of happening
I had a black one back in the day. Loved it. Fell off it loads of times. Smart things like getting my flares caught on the foot peg when pulling to a stop and doing an unintended 360 on some ice at 10 miles an hour. I liked the sound of the engine but I liked it even more with J&R expansion pipes on it.
