Held, I had a pair of the their trousers for years, never leaked and kept me warm in winter. I have a pair of their Everest goretex gloves which keep my fingers toasty, bit bulky but when you got Reynauds that isn't really a consideration
Klim Badlands Pro stuff. Can't fault it. Had Halverson's stuff before that but not as good as Klim. Cheaper though. Leathers, BKS made to measure. Saved up for a very long time for the leather 2 piece. Now don't use it as much as ride almost all year round and like to stay dry
in paris at the mo and unsurprisingly brands like five and furygan get big press over here... is the off the peg bks stuff that you can get at the likes of j and s made in england?
There is BKS stuff which Brian sold the name of, to a company, can't remember which one. His company is BKS Made to Measure. The lower spec off the peg 'bks' gear I believe is from overseas. He did tell me but it was 6 years ago when I got measured for my 2 piece. Agree with Furygan in France. In Normandy for the week and see a lot of peeps wearing the jackets but just jeans for below the waste stuff!
Also worth mentioning the likes of Scott They make great leathers, and cost around the same as some of the other brands about. Don't get the press but probably better than most off the peg suits
RST (onesie) so far has been good, not crash tested them and don't plan on. The two pockets were crap the stitching at the bottom gave way but the other half sorted that out "bless her". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Spidi and Alpinestars kit I have is brilliant. I had some RST gloves which were OK for a short period of time then the stitching fell out and the velcro pulled itself apart
agreed. lots of kudos amongst the force and tt guys. i bagged some gloves off ebay and they are great
tried on a lovely spidi textile jacket last night... very functional and very well made im struggling to get a textile jacket and leather trouser combo that works...im leaning towards a tourer style jacket... will i look like a numpty?
I agree, I have some Bering gloves - great quality & very comfy. I also like Clover jackets - I think they're Italian. Great quality but you don't see them around so much recently? Steve.
Rev It are also highly underrated, I've had and still got alpinestars and Dainese leathers but my one piece Rev It suit fits better than anything I've ever had, fits true to size, great features and two thirds the price of the italian superbrands..... Love my Alpinestars gear but they do seem to have a problem with fasteners.... I've had two zips break off on textile jackets and both my smx plus and supertechr boots had the drawstring snap (STechs after only 3 months!)... keep buying them though cos they are so comfortable for my duck feet :smiley:
rst do some great gear, swore by their textile trousers for years before i swapped to Dainese (just for a change!)
