Hi I'm gonna fit GP4 RX calipers very soon and just thinking on getting HPK discs and change them at the same time. My 1299s has covered just 750miles so the discs are as new, just wondering how much are they worth. Can't find any used discs for sale so not sure how much should i ask once taken off, just don't want to go with silly price or let them go for nothing (you know how it is).
Well if none are for sale then it's hard to accurately estimate. I wouldn't have thought many have really bothered selling the standard discs as aftermarket tend to hold better value, therefore keep the standard in the loft and put them back on before selling the bike. Your guess is as good as mine, find out how much they are new and then take away at least a third. To be honest the problem with ducati discs are they're likely over priced, therefore if somebody else with a 1299 requiring discs is even out there, then they may just look to put the money towards better aftermarket
Thanks for the input guys. Damodici - thanks for the logical explenation, would rather sell them as don't think I will sell the bike any soon and knowing myself I will loose them at some point. I'll keep looking and hope some will show up for sale before I change mine.
Thanks, didn't realised those discs for £150 are same as we have. It's crazy that Ducati double they price.
Even if they are not the same (I haven't looked into it that much), anyone looking wouldn't pay more for yours.
At a guess £150 for the pair but like said depends if theres any others for sale at time, BTW the hpk's are cracking disks, put a set on my old 06 999s
