WOW. Not sure if I am breaking any rules posting this, really like it. Ducati SS cafe racer 600 super sport | eBay I think to have gone to all that trouble with a 600 was perhaps, a waste, but, looks fantastic.
I don't think you are breaking any rules but really cannot agree with you on this one. Personally I do not like the look of this Cafe race from any angle. I do agree with you about the amount of investment/work being wasted though.
Tidy but overpriced. There are plenty of 600ss's in the DD paddock on a similar theme with a lot higher spec chassis, Most probalbly worth more to break and sell the bodywork (tank seat upper fairing) as a package. Why not keep and put a 900ssie motor in and a decent rear shock and cartridge kits in the forks? Would be a great road machine.
Rules.....oh bollocks! I best go check how many I've broken and appologise! But I'd like to agree on...I'm liking the SS cafe
You can imagine leaving a bike meet somewhere with many misty eyed admiring glances, then getting nailed my a cx500 on the way home. Ha Ha.
Right up until the owner turns out to be one of the DD boys who knows how to make those thing work and he rides right round the outside of you the long way round......

Its a bl**dy 'orrible caff racer.......with that effing great dustbin on the nose.....and he didn't even polish his belt covers..... AL
I agree, they do stand out somewhat, though the wheels, cases and covers would give a chap something to do over the winter.
Oi! Wrong list, thats the one I crashed in not the one I managed a 55.4 in lol and for the record Chris Clarke on a 583, like the ad, managed not much slower
Not really at fan of it....at the moment. Sop GT classic wheels on it, a tidier arse and the devils own exhaust on it and it could be very interesting. Could be
Were it priced SOMEWHERE near the value of a 600ss, IE 1000-1500 ish, I would, without a doubt, jump at it.
So it's a case of the parts being greater than the sum of the whole then? If that's the case then they should break it up and sell it.
