Well, OK. You're very welcome. But honestly Lincolnshire is a long way to travel for a rather modest, low key gathering of a few guys at the Ace.
Its an excuse just get out on the bike, some where else ive never been, another place cross off... But of course if its chucking it down with rain from the start, if not i'll take the rain gear if need be...
Oh I see, good point. If you have never been to the Ace Cafe, you should definitely visit one day so why not now? And 25 Sept is listed as a 59 Club reunion day, so plenty of old rockers there. They do food, everything from a simple cake to a full cooked meal. The Ace is really easy to find, being just off the North Circular road not far from where it crosses the A40 (Hanger Lane), also pretty near to Wembley stadium.
Weather looks dry between 11am > 3pm or 12 > 4pm if you can trust the websites... Will give you a text Chiz when I get near, assuming you are still working? and I make it down.
do that bud, I have just quit my job so can make it... Could meet ya at on ya bike in aylesbury to give me a good ride out....
Chiz, I was intending on probably setting out about 10 > 11 ish and blast straight down the M1 (dull I know). I will be on the Honda cruiser. I should be able to do it (get to the Ace) in 1 hour or less.. It's showing crappier weather earlier on the forecast at the mo and On Ya Bike is an extended route before I get to the Ace.... so plan to head to the A Cafe direct. Will give you a buzz before I put the food order in if you are not there first, Look forward to seeing you and the other forum members
no prob dawg! I'm gunna head up to aylesbury bout 10 to meet another mate then down to ace so msg me before then ifa ya change ya mind. It's some good roads, probably 45ish to the Ace from there
I'm going to pop in. Not sure whether to go for a ride before or after the Ace... Could just do both. Lovely lazy Sunday
Weather forecast for Sunday is dry and mild (for October). Fancy a ride to the Ace? The Ace list it as a Quad bikes day, by the way.
