  1. They've managed to make it Euro 4 compliant without putting on that hideous 959 exhaust, praise the Lord!

  2. Doubt it. The photo is taken in the USA where they don't have to be Euro 4 compliant.

  3. I know it's a test bike (although I'm not sure) but I hope they do a black one!!!

  4. This! I'd love a 1299 but I really don't like red.

  5. Yeh mat black would be badass. Double pipes up each side, now you're talking. Proper fucking bike, yeh :Cigar:

  6. Still think this 1199 was the best colour yet. [IMG]

  7. Na, changed my mind, forks look shit.

  8. I heard from someone who works for Ducati that the 1299 will be around for 2017 but that's due to be its last year.

  9. There was a suggestion in some of the the magazines that Yamaha would retain the existing R6 model into 2017 on the basis of a temporary Euro4 exemption for 'niche' models where re-development costs are very significant and sales volumes represent a very small percentage volume of overall output. Despite that, it seems that Yamaha might have actually re-developed the R6 (TBC).

Perhaps Ducati have agreed such an exemption to extend production of the 1299 into 2017 to the Euro3 standard (with software updates only)? Interestingly, the MCN article specifically mentions Euro4 compliance updates for the Diavel, MTS and Monster 821. There is no such mention for the 1299.

  10. I dropped into a Ducati dealership recently and the sales guy told me their best selling bikes were the Panigale and of course the Scrambler.

Makes me wonder why they'd stop making the Pani.

They hadn't sold a single Enduro, which didn't surprise me.
