Took a ride down to West Bay and saw Hardy's Monument was open to the public so stopped and paid a visit. Spectacular views and 120 spiral steps to the top. I thought I was reasonably fit till I got to the top of that..
Sailed round and round 300 African refugees drifting in a fishing boat for 12 hours until they were picked up.
Might have another run down there myself early afternoon. A run I was planning to go on has been cancelled. Forecast isn't very good though.
I used to repair washing machines, dishwashers etc etc....theyre usually not too bad to fix unless the main bearings go - then youll need a blow torch to get it out....
Decided to spend the day in Cadiz, found one of the cheaper car parks by fluke and it turned out to be International Tourist day which meant we got the €12 each open topped tourist bus ticket for free. The old town of Cadiz is small although full of history so the bus tour was over in 45 minutes which was just in time to catch the MotoGP in a very nice tapas bar with a big TV. Weather here in southern Spain is still scorchio so taking on plenty of fluids and the occasional siesta . Andy
Took a trip across the New Forest to see my Dad. Thought I would try taking a video of the rear wheel (why not?!). Find the movement of the spokes a bit mesmerising - the distortion at the end is seriously weird though (camera not wheel / tyre!).
At the hospital right now, going to be a dad for either a little boy or little girl but most definitely a future Ducati rider! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
