Just in case it's never occurred to to anyone else ........ never chamois your bike with the engine running. Especailly within the vicinity of you dry clutch cover. For more information, see my add in the 'Wanted' Section.
Ohh ...........and another thing don't try to clean your chain with the engine running either......thats bad for your pinkies they don't grow back, pics on google images(not for the faint of heart)
Ouch! We all do them (daft things), just got to learn from them. got my old clutch pack, worn plates, mind, but springs, caps all in order, just slips a bit. No basket, in need of one, myself, really. anyways, yours for postage, if you want. pete
I had a noisy interior fan on a VW once so had the cover off (like you do), set it going (like you do) then proceeded to stick my fingers in it (like you do) Much noisier thereafter and hurty fingers to boot Tis clever stuff
ouch :frown: not nice : another to the 'do not list' Do not clean your back wheel while the engine is on tick over and you being a smart arse using a duster to polish it ! The bike worked it's way of the paddock stand and then proceeded to break his arm and take out most of his garage
shouldnt that be in the viz top tips section?? Cornish..have you ever tried to clean a desk fan with your face?
i did that once when i was little, ended in hospital with a sore finger and a huge bandage - never again...
