So after foolishly taking a 1299s out for a 24 hour test ride, the 999r is going to be sold on. If anyone is looking for some parts and performance items I have posted a list in the 'For sale' section. I need to fund the Akrapovic system somehow ..!! Sad to see the 999r going, as I loved the lines and carbon details, but after my 996s went pop on Assen last weekend, I can face putting the 999r on the track and breaking that as well. hopefully the 1299 will be up to the task...

With a full motor rebuild on the table for my 996 as the gearbox output bearing collapsed, I couldn't face the fact that the 999 is also 15 years old now.. Looking forward to moving all the parts I have in the cellar onto new owners and starting again with a new bike
