Fellow members/owners, I am looking for a used clutch master cylinder for my 1098r, i understand its the same on all 848/1098/1198 models. Im in the process of elimination as i have had clutch problems so dont really want to splash out on a new one. So, if anyone has a spare/replaced with an aftermarket one i would be most interested. None reasonably priced on Ebay at the moment. Thanks in advance
Replaced slave and tried everything else. It's a 17,000 mile bike. Most people have advised it's master.
Your other alternative is to have your master cylinder serviced. Can't remember if it is HPS or Biketorque who offer the service but I do remember that it is not an in house job like the brake master cylinder and goes back to Brembo so takes at least a couple of weeks. Andy
