  1. Do you know Kyle who is winning Bemsee? He's doing some crazy fast times on his new R1. Unfortunately a snapped chain put a hole in his engine yesterday.

  2. Kyle is doing well in the rookie 1000 Championship, hopefully he gets his engine sorted out.

  7. Mate of mine did more than a race on wets when it was mostly dry at the start, dry by the end. Depends on it you are Dovi or Dobby ;) lol

  8. Dry rear wet front this sesh was still a bit wet, dried fast though as the wind was howling, stuck dry back on for next session

  9. So I had a crash yesterday at Silverstone. To be honest if I was going to choose a crash, it would have been this one. It was on the slowest part of the track, a gentle low side and the bike came out relatively ok. Guessing it was a cold left-hand side of the tyre and too much lean angle that caused it. Scratched fairings, bent rear set, damaged peg and broken side stand was the damage. Panels are already in the paint shop being fixed ready for my trip to Cartagena next month.

  10. I know that you will have dissected that video a thousand times to try and see what happened, but there just doesn't appear to be anything obvious
Like we were saying yesterday, I'd guess at a combination of cold track & new tyres
There's no sudden increase in throttle noise or the sound of trailing the brake a bit too much like you normally see in 'what happened here' type videos.
At least it'll be all painted up and good to go again ready for Cartagena

Donington was a nightmare today. So many racers standing each other up and crashing on a cold track. I spent more time sat in the pits under red flags than I did on the track

  14. That's too nice a bike for that crashing lark. It was only the other week I was showing your bike to a few mates. Drool!

Glad to see you're getting it sorted right away and getting back on track!

  18. This is from last week at Silverstone. Not exactly the best knee down photo ever, but a nice scenic shot and a perfect background for my laptop screen :) SilverstoneOct16.jpg
