  1. I try and spread the cost over two or three months (or at least over two credit card statements at the very least) and once I have spent up then that's it.....and I measure it against last years spend. It means I have no surprises come January :)

  2. Happy birthday have a great time :)

  11. Off to pedal my way round the local country park for 3 laps soon, burn off some of those concerns...

We've got to send a tender today (but can't see how we can comply) to re secure for funding for the next 4 years, which makes up 20% of our business income.

Oh well, out tonight, either on the bike or will meet some mates at the pub, it's not all bad.

  13. Hoorah, in the outside world after 4 days confinded to bed. Sat in front of a large black coffee and a bacon roll in a little bakery in Fleet. Had to pick up a letter from the sorting office because I didn't hear the postman knock. Stand tickets for Brands next week - wahoo. Andy

  15. My simpson speedway shark has gone back to Simpson in Texas for re-upholstering. Bit pissed off as its literally disintegrated in 2 years of ownership and doesnt get used all the time so its had a relatively easy life. Plus on top of that to insure it and send it its cost me 50 quid before they even get it. More despressingly i fully expect the customs department to try and charge me vat against the cost of it (500 quid currently). So, gone retro and rocking my 20 year old street shark while its away for repair....which i might add the internals of it are near perfect....QA at Simpson has failed big time and every time i take them up on it they just don't return my emails...im assuming its going to come back upholstered in the same fabric (ive questioned the quality of the existing stuff to drop the hint...) which means i cant really use it as an everyday helmet...still working on the other half to get an x-spirit 3....

  20. People say the Royal Family deserve tax payers money because they bring a lot of foreign people to the country.

Well, so do a lot of long distance lorry drivers, but they don't get a load of palaces to live in do they?
