I heard it'll possibly be in a 'matt finish too.

 

If it matt finish they'll claim (like McLaren) it's lighter without the lacquer.

 

I think McLaren need to 'Matt finish' the F1 car 1st? It might give them 0.0001 of a second. :tearsofjoy:

Just buy a Merc engine instead, the Honda 1 isn't very stable.

Never going to win a WDC with a customer engine, need a works package and Honda was only one with exclusive option. 3yrs of pain might just be about to payoff next year.

 

Pity JB22 will be sat on the bench watching the others reap all the benefits and rewards.

 

I think Vandoorne will do well but the car will still be off the pace, Alonso will go at the end of 2017 (contract expiry) and JB will have one last season. Wether the car will be up to a tilt at the title is another matter. Sure he's got one last season in him.

Last blast for a big V Twin before V4, smaller capacities, Euro 5 and forced induction??? It's the end of an era (851,888,916,996,998,999,1098,1198,1199,1299). Might as well own the best of the best??????

 

Probably totally biased and unable to comment as I havent ridden a desmo or SL or even 1*99 but...best of the best is a 916SPS
