That's only half way, there is 1 more colour & 2 more clear coats to go on then the tank will be finished.
Stripped the bike down, going to change the belts and get it ready for the new parts to put on once they come from the paint shop.
Some progress done...new parts installed, carbon fairing stay (birdcage) carbon handle bars, billet clip-ons, Rizoma grips & bar ends, adjustable kickstand & ducabike levers...
Such a shame to a great bike has just been ruined looks like a xmas tree in my opinion but the good thing its the owners choice to create this and as they say beauty is the eye of the beholder
I decided to send the bi-posto carbon tail back because the cover would not fit at all...so today I received the solo carbon tail...
A baroque Ducati. Let's hope the whole turns out to be the greater than the sum of the parts and the owner's vision is vindicated. I'm sure it would go down well in Riyadh...
Indeed. Rarely are baroque decorative concepts applied to modern technological artifacts, at least on this side of the Atlantic. It was good that somebody did it to a Ducati, so that nobody else need wonder what it would look like.
