Got the pani for main track use....damn was hoping the doom could be a goer. Ill take my sound meter to the test ride.
I've done brands Indy and silverstone gp track days on my 939SP. Brands was fine with baffle in, I didn't bother trying it without. Silverstone didn't care at all, did the day without baffle. They were only testing the fast group for some reason. Bike was totally awesome on brands. Really suited the smaller circuit. Silver stone was also OK but cornering speeds were a lot higher so I ground out both pegs, and my gear lever which actually bent slightly. I had to ride a little less aggressively after that bt overall was still good. The bike is awesome on track.
The tester at Castle Combe does not used the recommended procedure, his measuring stick is shorter and he requires you to rev the bike to a higher level than anyone else so using a DIY meter won't be indicative of what to expect. Andy
