  1. That picture is a snapshot from a very short video someone took when they spotted that bike leaving the ducati Factory.

  2. Probably cos that one's got the big old heavy wheels on it

  6. Although you'd think they would at least use the 1299 fairing.

  7. After doing my own exhaustive investigation into this, I reckon the motorcycling press and the Japanese factory guys have been camped in these bins on the left for ages trying to get a spy shot :)

I spotted this strange looking beasty round the back :)

Is it the new Multistrada City bike or that could have been this

However a quick peek inside revealed this blurry image of something exotic :D

  10. Decid
Mmmmm No thanks, I did that 1 already back in 2008 with a 1098s Tricolore and a 1098R. So time to turn and kick back on the SL2 and do something else. Probably in 2/3 years time SL2's will be worth about £45/ 50K depending on usage and D16RR's will be £100K+. :upyeah: :screamcat: :tonguewink:

  12. Only if a Ducati test rider was leaving the factory on one on the 4th July this year when I took that photo...

  13. Yeah, me.

  14. It was a right-hand turn as he left the staff car-park at the factory.
We were walking back to the factory having been to the shop at the end of the road and heard a bike. It sounded different, like much deeper note.
I grabbed my phone to take a video while he waited for the barrier to come up and let him out, then he sped off.
You could tell it was a test bike because:
    - all black, no markings
    - data logger strapped to the rear
    - wearing plain leathers that are not Ducati branded

If you look at any spy shots you will see that test riders don't wear anything branded that can identify them as Ducati; it's always plain leathers / gloves / helmet / boots.

  15. Just been told £72k, I was wobbling at £66k but I'm out at this. Good luck to those of you buying and I hope it's as special as it sounds, I'm extremely envious. Cheers guys.

  19. Thank brexit or that little 10% price hike. One of the reasons I bought a Ducati now before shit gets out of hand.
