^^^ Fair Weather Rider Alert ^^^ Ive been out the other day, it was nice n sunny, yesterday was nice aswell, I even test rode a new multi dvt on the wedensday, it was fffing weird riding my sport bike home bound after riding that multi...
Same here but atm I have 3 cars, my hotrod project is on the fleabay atm... Ive known to be out on my bike on Christmas day...
? Riding the Multi DVT ? Well its ages since ive ridden a upright bike it nothing like a supermoto (husberg), to compare to the Multi before I cant not do even though that's what i'll be looking to buy... I was quite surprise how nimble/agile it was, it didn't feel like a 1200 either... It was a little bit of stretch getting on/off (in full leathers) once I was on it, it felt the seat was too low for me... I was told not to open it as it was still on it bedding in stage (bummer) I didn't get the chance to put it in sport mode I just left in touring mode which was fine... I can see why ppl put after market exhaust on them I could harderly hear the bike plus my bike has a open dry clutch... To compare it to my bag of spanners sports bike every thing tight n refine though that centre stand does stop your left foot moving back for a better position... After the ride and went to ride homeward bound, it felt like ive never ridden my sports bike, must been 10-15 miles before I got use to it again.
Ok...bumping this thread,as it was a year ago since it was posted. One of my MANY NY resolutions is to use my bike more,so let's get some run-outs or meets sorted!! Come on everyone,let's have a great new year and get out and about and meet new friends!
I started the thread but a few personal problems have been getting in the way , + i worked weekends .......... but that has now changed and i will be off most weekends now so i will be back up for this New job and a career change starting tuesday 3rd jan ....... and hopefully get nearly every weekend off ..............

Will pass on this, bike is sorned until spring when salt is off the road Is this meet still going?? I thought it had died a few years ago I live only a couple of miles away and on Tuesdays roads used to be buzzing with bikes going there a few years ago, now you just don't see any bikes going there The world has moved on and other meets have appeared in the last few years at better venues with drinkable beer
To be honest,same with my bike,and when the weather warms up a little bit! But I'm up for it this year!!
Shit up there on a tuesday night, but could start a meet up at the durham ox ....using it as a meeting point and not to drink beer then we could ride to different places suggested by the people that turn up
I'm hoping to be out in any weather . Just to be out and riding Out tomoz sod it , I can't wait that long
