Ducati Museum

  1. I plan to take next years vacation in Lake Garda.
It would be rude not to visit the Ducati Museum, as it’s not too far away :grinning:
I have already registered an application to visit the site and I’m awaiting the allocated date and time to visit.
I have three questions for anyone that's been:
    1. How long did it take before you received confirmation for your permitted visiting slot?
    2. Any recommendations for the visit.
    3. Has anyone travelled to the museum from Lake Garda, if so would you recommend the train, coach, or hire a car?

  2. From the southern end of Lake Garda to Borgo Panigale is about 90 miles, and a very straightforward journey by road (nearly all autostrada). No idea about the trains, sorry.

  5. 1) Just a matter of a day or two if memory serves.

    2) Enjoy. The factory tour isn't too long and is guided throughout, no photos in theory. You get as long as you want in the museum. There's a small shop next to the museum entrance, a much bigger one just up the road (turn right out the main factory entrance, the one with the big red logo, and it's a few hundred yards up the road. There are a few other museums of possible interest in the area or not too far away ... Ferrari, Lamborghini, Simoncelli, Tavullo for Rossi etc..

  7. You'll really enjoy the museum!! It's been 6 years since I was there so can't remember too much of the admin details, but I just turned up. Here were some of my pics when I rode to WDW 10.

  9. I was there last week. It took them about 6 weeks to get back to me about my reservation. It's well worth the visit and has changed a bit since the pics that are in this thread.
