Hello All, I am trying to ressurect an Indiana 650, all going good so far but am unsure about 1 thing. Bike was partly dismantled when I got it and not sure if there is a swing arm bolt in it or not ? I know this sounds odd but cannot find any reference on what it looks like ? If anyone has one and wouldnt mind taking a pic I would be very gratefull. Thanks Ray
Hi, I'm sure a link to the parts manual will help. Stein dense does not have the Indiana listed. Bevelheaven does have it listed in their ' manuals' section but I cannot get it to work. ( may be my tablet? Look at ducatimeccanica -it seems to work ok. indiana_56 It differs slightly from the original pantah design (large ground hollow shaft going through the engine cases at the rear, with no connection with the frame) with there being a smaller shaft. It may or may not go through the frame as well, you will need to study the diagram longer than I did. It superficially appears similar to the cagiva elefant (Sp?) set up with a smaller shaft slightly offset from where the original pantah one was. I do have a set of elephant cases for a later project so intrigued by where the shaft does/ could go. Basically you are looking for a shaft about 15mm o/d not a 25mm ish tube a la pantah. Hope this is of some use. Keith MM
Hello, It is the same engine, any chance of a picture of the swing arm, it seems easier to see from left side. Thanks Ray
Hello, Thanks for the info, I see the hollow tube which is clamped in the swing arm, just need to know if the is an inner shaft ? Thanks Ray
May I suggest you print off the whole parts list and study it? I expect most of your questions will find answers there. Ducati Indiana 350-650 - Parts Manual
