1200 Enduro Anyone Tried The Enduro Comfort Seat

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by MG1200S, Aug 6, 2016.

  1. Just picked up my brand new Enduro today. Great bike but the seat is a little in comfortable (after 200 miles). Has anyone tried the comfort seat? is it .... Well comfortable?

  2. Went with an medium airhawk2 seat myself. Enjoy the bike, though once you fill it up too full it weighs quite something! Had over 400 miles riding out of mine before running out & using my spare two litre backup can.

Throw an image at us please!

I added the touring pack, carbon headlight fairing (screen), additional LED fog lights and a tanklock flange for my givi tank bag. Considering the comfort seat, top case and Slip On (but want to hear one first).

  4. Just purchased the comfort seat so will let you know how I get on.

  5. Fair play, yeah I'll do a small video of the standard vs race exhaust a,s,p.

  6. At 5' 11" I need the lower seat. Not notably uncomfortable, in fact i don't notice it at all.

  7. Any update in the comfort seat? Is it worth the extra £200 odd?

  8. My first run on my new Enduro was nearly 400 miles from the Dealer to home. After about 4 hours I started shifting about trying to get more comfortable. Having had a similar experience on my KTMs, I decided to fix it in the same way by ordering the comfort seat.

I have since done around 600 miles on it and it's certainly better. It looks exactly the same as the original one, but has more foam, so is about an inch taller. While sat on the bike, moving it around is slightly more difficult, but once you are going it's fine.

Overall I am happy with the change and would recommend it to those doing long riding days. For those doing shorter rides, say 200 miles or less, the standard seat is fine. Though each to their own

  9. Went with an airhawk seat cushion myself. Allows you to change the dynamics of the air amount & bounce et cetra....double post!
