Jumped to some conclusions. Got stopped at lights on my commute this morning by another bike. Apparently every time I use the rear brake, sparks are flying. Strange, only picked it up a couple of weeks ago and they did an MOT on it before I collected. Then the ol' brain decides anger and finger pointing is what's needed. Clearly that c*nting dealer passed it and didn't bother checking the rear pads. I've probably now knackered the disc now and I'm going to get to the office and go absolutely mental at them. Utter bastards! Got to work using front only, parked up only to see that all is well. Practically new pads, no disc scoring or signs of damage. Plenty of life left on the disc. Dealer promptly forgiven for that thing they didn't even do [emoji23] Now I muse over what could cause the sparks. Might have a little something caught in the pads. Got sucked into buying an Ohlins shock for the Honda. They don't come up so often and it looked mint.. Really should have kept the money for other things. Birthdays, Christmas and I want some bits for my R6. All this talk of track days... I obviously can't wait to get to it wrong on Paddock Hill and kart wheel it through the gravel trap. Have to behave myself & try not to like it too much. Already thinking van & awning or motor home and little enclosed trailer. Must resist. Booked the wood burner in for install next week, so that's something. Messed about with underfloor heating and it's not cutting it.. So will be fitting radiators downstairs before Christmas. May have to put project BBQ shelter and removing internal walls on hold for a while.
